| Select the proper membership application that fits your desired membership type from within each category description below. If you have any questions regarding membership in the association, please contact our Membership Coordinator. Definition: Individuals holding a Broker's Real Estate License either a Sole Proprietorship, Principal Partner or Manager of a real estate office. Complete the Designated REALTOR® application form and submit to McHCAR with a copy of your brokers’ real estate license and all appropriate fees (application fee and dues). If you have applied for your broker’s license but have not yet received it from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, please submit a copy of your sponsor card. If you are currently a REALTOR® member of McHCAR and are upgrading your membership to that of a Designated REALTOR® or transferring your membership from another Association to McHCAR, no application fee or transfer fee is due. If you are applying for secondary Designated REALTOR® membership you must complete the Designated REALTOR® application form and submit to McHCAR with a copy of your brokers' real estate license, local dues, letter of good standing from the board/association in which you hold primary Designated REALTOR® membership, which must state that all current REALTOR® obligations have been met and National, State and Local Dues have been paid. Download the Designated REALTOR® application form. All applications for membership are reviewed and subject to approval by the Board of Directors. Definition: Individuals or corporations involved in the sale or lease of real property, who hold REALTOR® membership. Complete the MRED Subscription Agreement and submit to McHCAR with appropriate fees, copy of brokers’ license and any Corporation papers that have been already filed with the County Clerks office for LLC, DBA etc. If you are not simultaneously applying for Designated REALTOR® membership, you must submit a letter of good standing from the board/association in which you hold Designated REALTOR® membership stating that all current REALTOR® obligations have been met and National, State and Local Dues have been paid. If applying for MRED Participation and Secondary Designated REALTOR® membership simultaneously and you are currently accessing MRED through another REALTOR® Association, fill out MRED Subscription agreement and submit to McHCAR. No application fee is due for MRED Participation if paid through another board/association. Download the Designated REALTOR® MRED Participant Agreement. Applications for MRED Participation are reviewed and subject to approval by the Board of Directors. Definition: MLS Participants Branch Office corporation which already holds a main REALTOR®/MLS office location either through McHCAR or another MRED subscribing REALTOR® Association. Complete the MRED Branch Office Subscription Agreement and submit to McHCAR with appropriate fees, copy of any Corporation papers that have been filed with the County Clerks office for DBA, LLC, etc. and names of all current licensees that will be licensed out of the branch office location (all licensees must be members of a REALTOR® Organization). Download the Branch Office MRED Participation Agreement Definition: Individuals or corporations involved in the sale or re-financing of real estate: i.e. appraisers. Please note that only SOLD data is available to Affiliate members applying for MRED Participation. Complete the MRED Affiliate Subscription Agreement and submit to McHCAR with appropriate fee. Download the Affiliate MRED Subscription Agreement Definition: Individuals holding a leasing or sales persons real estate license having sponsored by a Designated REALTOR®. Complete REALTOR® Membership application and submit to McHCAR with a copy of 45-day sponsor permit and appropriate fees (application fee and dues). Application fee may be paid by cash, check, MasterCard or visa. Dues must be paid by the broker and can be accepted in the form of a company check or a check the agent has made payable to their company and the company has endorsed over to the Association. Dues may also be paid by the agent in the form of cash, cashier’s check or money order. If you currently are a member of another REALTOR® board/association no application fee or transfer fee is due. A letter of good standing must be submitted stating that all REALTOR® obligations have been met and that National, State and Local dues have been paid for the current year. If fees are not current, please contact McHCAR at (815) 459-0600 for applicable amounts due with submission of application. These include, but are not limited to; mortgage lenders, mortgage brokers, appraisers, home inspectors, marketing groups, title companies, surveyors, pest control companies, tax assessor's etc. Complete the Affiliate application form and submit to McHCAR with appropriate fees (application fee and dues). Please note that Affiliate membership is held in the name of an individual NOT A COMPANY. If an individual from your company or corporation is currently an affiliate member of McHCAR or if more than one individual is applying for affiliate membership at the same time, than only one application fee must be paid.
